This Wednesday, September 23, the Music Cities Awards, an award created to recognize and reward the most remarkable applications of music for economic, social and cultural development in cities and places around the world.
SIM São Paulo competes in the category “Best use of music in cities and municipalities with more than 500 thousand inhabitants”, with Fundación Batuta (Colombia) and the Reeperbahn Festival (Germany).
The delivery of each award will be preceded by a panel discussion with the participation of representatives from competing events. Fabiana Batistela, director of SIM Sâo Paulo participates in the discussion about the use of music in cities from 1:30 pm, Brazilian time, and the announcement of the winner happens half an hour later, at 2:00 pm.
