DISCOVER OI'S ACTIONS AND THE PARTNERSHIP WITH SIM SÃO PAULO

The music world was strongly impacted with the new coronavirus pandemic,. The change in the format of SIM this year is a reflection of that. But even in the midst of the crisis, it's possible to move forward and think about the future, as Luciana Adão, coordinator of Cultural Sponsorship at Oi Futuro, guarantees.

“It's art that makes it possible to see the future, to look beyond uncertainties and stimulate dreams. Oi Futuro and other institutions that operate in culture strengthen their performance in the digital field environment ”, explains Luciana.

With this motivation, Oi continues to invest in this partnership with SIM since 2017. It all started with the creation of LabSonica, a laboratory to stimulate creators, creativity and innovation in the field of sound and music. The program has become the meeting point for many creators and makers from different areas and offers the necessary infrastructure for bands, music, producers, sound art researchers, independent record companies and developers to carry out sound projects and make cultural productions independent.

In this year's edition of SIM, Oi is the one who signs the Labsonica Sessions workshops, whose objective is to develop solutions and notes for market change, in addition to exchanging between producers, creators and culture makers. The joint actions of this edition also include the launch of programs and notices.

Luciana welcomes SIM's willingness to adapt the week to online, as the audience is even greater. “Our desire is that more and more people have access to diverse and plural education, building new possibilities for professional connection”, says the cultural producer.

“Art oxygenates ideas”.

In the midst of the crisis, art and culture have proven to be more necessary than ever, which is why virtual expansion allows us to conquer new territories and new audiences. “In this journey to overcome the anguish and difficulties of social isolation, it is art that oxygenates ideas. It is art that makes it possible to see the future, to look beyond uncertainties and stimulate dreams. Oi Futuro and other institutions that operate in culture strengthen their performance in the digital field environment ”, explains Luciana.
