This panel will explore how conflict-affected communities have used the arts to respond to the conflict and drive positive social transformation. In doing so the discussion will focus on why and how the arts can help (re)build safe, prosperous and cohesive communities. The panel will draw on the experiences and practice of artists from Colombia, Bosnia, Lebanon and DR Congo.

 

Speakers: Precy Numbi (Artista/Republica Democrativa do Congo), Róbinson Úsuga Henao (Lluvia de Orion/COL), Farah Wardani (Laban/Líbano) and Ronald Panza (Ativista cultural/Bosnia).
